Professional Landscape Plan!!

In fact you can't afford not to get one if you are planning a sizeable project. A well planned professional landscape plan, no matter how small or large, saves you money by avoiding common errors.

50% of the cost of the plan is often credited towards the price of installation when using my suggested contractor. This makes professional planning attainable to everyone.

Often a plan is not necessary.

You may simply need someone to present a clear plan of action, order of work, specific materials and an estimate for the services to the correct contractor. There are no charges for a brief consultation with an estimate. My fees are included in the estimate when installed by Garden Song Design.

When a plan is needed, it is priced according to complexity. Simple DIY planting plans start at $500.00 where as complex plans can range from $1000.00 to $2000.00.

Garden Consultations

Sometimes homeowners and gardeners just need a helping hand from a professional to successfully complete a project on their own. They are willing to do the work, but they need a little guidance. That's where Garden Song Design can help. Using my skills as a Certified Professional Horticulturist and Landscape Designer I can help you save you hundreds of dollars in labor fees, plant replacements, and inappropriate material choices. By scheduling an hourly consultation you can complete your project efficiently and correctly the "first time". I can quickly put you on the road to success with your gardening challenges. I love working with the public and I enjoy sharing my gardening knowledge. I have extensive experience teaching gardening workshops and I'm famililar with all the common problems inexperienced gardeners encounter.

Pricing is based on the amount of time we spend together. I will provide you with copies of all of my notes and sketches, and photos if taken.

Workshops and Floral Design

Winter is a time for planning and designing. For over 20 years I have helped Harford and Baltimore County residents and businesses get ready for the winter holidays with my fresh evergreen floral designs. My naturalistic classic style fits well in all design settings. I use high quality fresh flowers, evergreens and floral supplies. Many of my clients have standing orders I fill year after year.
